The foundation was set up after a girl (Sophie Lancaster) and her boyfriend were set upon by a group of thugs walking home through a park in 2007. Sophie’s boyfriend was set upon first and then Sophie tried to protect him and was beaten up herself- she never recovered from her injuries. Hate crime is unacceptable and must be stopped! Entertainment includes performances from SPUNGE,ISOLATION, WRATH CHILD and TAINTED NATION and burlesque performances from Miss Cherry Kitten and Mary Lynch. Sideshow performance from Nick Painless There will also be some local craft stalls and S.O.P.H.I.E wrist bands will be available to buy. This will be an over 18 event due to there being a bar and ID on the door will be required.
